Rowena really does go above and beyond! What an amazing woman! After a chance encounter and being stranded in Lincoln after all the trains had been cancelled she came to the rescue. Without hesitation she immediately offered to drive myself and my son to my mum's house 30 minutes away! Not only does she show compassion and kindness towards her patients but to everyone! A great experience - couldn’t be happier. A really personal experience that goes so far beyond what I expected. If you want to feel in completely safe hands, with really honest service (my optician said I’d hate my new varifocal booster specs for a week but I should push through - and 3 weeks later I love them now my eyes have adjusted), go to Optique. It feels a bit like being in a boutique. I felt really looked after.

Best glasses I've ever had. I was having cluster migraines and severe light-headedness all due to my old glasses (bought elsewhere). Rowena and the crew were so lovely and helped identify the issues and since getting my new glasses the light-headedness and migraine stopped immediately. They also look fabulous. Just got my beautiful Luciano Occhiali glasses from Optique of Southwell and I'm absolutely thrilled with them. Optique has a wonderful range of frames from affordable up to all the top designers but they also have new ones from designers you might not have heard of before. The service from Allan and Rowena was first class, especially the aftercare following my cateract operation and help choosing the glasses that suited and flattered my face. I must also thank them for putting new lenses in my favourite Tiffany sunglasses. Great products and service from Optique of Southwell but they also have shops in Nottingham and Lincoln. Visit them, you won't be disappointed.

I am so delighted to have found Optique. After an eye related health scare earlier this year I moved to Optique from a generic high street chain opticians. The difference in service was incredible and they made me feel safe and reassured during a very worrying time. They still continue to do this and I now bring all my family here too. Their selection of glasses is amazing and they are all super friendly. They have offered brilliant advice regarding contact lenses too and I am very happy with the lenses I am now using.
