ORJ helped us with the purchase of our first home. Jade and her assistants Wendy and Kimberley were really helpful and answered all our questions. Despite having the Christmas break putting a pause on things, the team were very efficient and thorough. They are friendly and helpful when we had questions about the process, and even took time to explain certain things to us as first time buyers. A lot of the time, they just got on with everything in the background and would update us as and when needed. We had pressure from higher up our chain to exchange promptly, but ORJ didn't rush and were still very thorough in their work and made sure we were aware of everything. Still, we completed in just 12 weeks. Highly recommend ORJ if you are buying a house.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. PLEASE READ.

Had my case for over FOUR months and did absolutely nothing with it, not even start the process slightly. They have wasted valuable time and caused me nothing but stress! I emailed several times weeks apart to be ignored, when I did get a reply it was always ‘we are going through the documents you will have an email by the end of the week’ then I would get absolutely nothing even after chasing them after they failed to meet their own deadline! I have been emailing THREE different people for all of them to ignore me it’s absolutely disgusting how they treat people.

I understand things take time I am okay with that however you do not give people expectations you cannot meet and keep letting them down week after week, you do not ignore people when you are meant to be helping and you do not waste months and months of people’s time.

I emailed to advise I would need a reply within 7 days as I need to get the case moving so if I don’t will have to pass to another solicitor, guess what? IGNORED ME, I still haven’t had a reply! Absolutely ridiculous.

And don’t be fooled if you speak to them first about a case they were very keen to help me and everything was great until I actually wanted their help.

ORJ were responsible for 6 months of delays. Instances of sheer incompetence throughout my divorce. Compounded by lack of admission and acceptance of responsibility for clear and obvious errors. Lack of employee continuity and profound lack of professional acumen.
Further exasperated by a failure to present key financial documents in relation to pension sharing resulting in a 28 month delay and a financial liability of £9.5k which I now am required to pay immediately.
Do not even consider ORJ unless it's as a recommendation to your worst enemy.

A very heartless and unscrupulous business model. They will incite hatred during divorce maximising costs for their client and raising the emotional pain to unbearable, affecting familys and especially impacting children. In my experience they made matters worse and were not doing the right thing for their client but doing the right thing for their pockets and profits. Beware as they will promise you the earth and ultimately will get you nothing better than if you had of represented yourself. Please don't be fooled this is a sales led business and not a caring family business.
