Fantastic service throughout the process.
We have recently used PCS to manage the purchase of our new home and were amazed by the speed and efficiency shown.

Like many on here I regret not reading the reviews of PCS before handing over money. They are such a pain to get a hold of and useless. I was told I should be completing before Xmas but here we are still sending emails and calling to get an update. My mortgage offer expires soon and this is undue stress. I wish I paid 2x 3x more to a firm who actually puts the customer first and not useless.

As a first time buyer I would not recommend. Our experience wasn’t smooth or met with a friendly solicitor. We were assigned Paige, who not only never really explained anything to us but I also found her to be quite abrupt and uncaring throughout our entire process.

After not hearing from Paige for a month and being asked by my estate agent to exchange early with a different contract I dared called the office and on the occasion I could actually get through to actually speak to someone rather than email as I was confused. A lovely lady chatted me through everything and as far as I’m aware I never made a complaint, I mentioned my concerns and asked if everything was being dealt with as I had no contact from Paige.

The next day I received a rather unprofessional email from Paige saying that she heard I’m complaining about her! When I explained that wasn’t the case I never got a reply back from that email. From then on I only received frosty emails back and forth including on our completion day when the wrong instructions were given.

When we finally picked up our keys from the estate agent they told us how PCS legal are the worst company they have ever worked with, how on so many occasions they would never get replies from emails and the phone lines jammed. On one occasion we were delayed 3 separate times on exchange because no one could simply get hold of our solicitor.

Overall for the money spent it’s not the service I was expecting. I will never use or recommend to others especially after hearing other people’s experiences being far more professional than ours.

I would highly recommend PCS Legal. Adam was amazing and very helpful from the first day I spoke to him right up until completion which again he was brilliant when I was very stressed out. Through the whole process Adam would explain anything I was unsure of and all of my completion went very smoothly for the sale of my property. I would definitely use again should I need to.

I’m currently into the latter stages of purchasing a house however it is taking longer than it should because I can not get ahold of anyone at this company. Considering I’m paying for this service I’d expect them to show some sort of respect to the fact. I have sent numerous emails and tried calling several times with no answer, and when I do get an answer I’m told my case handler will call me back; which never seems to happen. For a company that prides themselves on being quick and efficient I am yet to witness it for myself.

PCS legal has been my first go to solicitors for my flat registration and staircasing. They are amazing in terms of work ethics and expect prompt response. I am extremely unhappy with my experience at PCS. Been nearly 6 weeks since competition and we still haven't had all the correct paperwork..

Firstly, I was charged £6.00 for “Office Copies” without any notification. Paige O'Brien and her team, Henna Villamor did not inform me of the fact she has forgotten to add it to our bill and just deducted the money without any paperwork. This makes me feel like a victim of fraud and very concerned.
I have asked 3 times now for our bill to be updated and the corrected version to be sent to me, but nearly 6 weeks after competition I haven't had a corrected bill send to me.

They steal your money and don't even tell you. Wouldn't recommend., I now have had to to recheck all my statements and transactions to ensure no other amounts have been deducted without proper documentation. This is time-consuming and frustrating.

There was also an error on my bill where VAT was added twice, resulting in a discrepancy of nearly £150. I had to bring this to Paige's attention for it to be rectified.

Very slow and unprofessional replies from Paige O'Brien and her team, Henna Villamor and the customer care team Gemma Cadby.

I would definitely recommend you look for a better conveyor if you want peace of mind that the work will be carried out correctly.

All the one start reviews say the same thing, clearly nothing is being done to sort out the issues which has been happening for at least over a year!

Please do not use this company. You will end up frustrated, let down and wishing you had read the reviews first. We were allocated the handler, Paige Bekir. Over the months we dealt with PCS, her lack of responses and complete ignoring of requests for information have worsened the situation which is already stressful enough. The only way we could get her to respond was to copy in the complaint email address and several other email addresses within the business. We were promised time and time again that things would improve and yet they did not, it does beg the question, why have a complaints department? The icing on the cake was when we came to completion there was an issue with the firm's bank account. Paige went home at 3 pm on Friday without letting us know or any other member of her team that we were still owed the outstanding funds (£500,000) It took me calling 3 different branches of PCS from 4 pm to 4:55 pm to get the funds released. I work for a software company as a customer director and cannot understand how this level of service can be allowed on this day of such high competition.
