I had problems with my roof that needed investigation. I was recommended Philip Goacher by a few chartered surveyors. The service I received from Philip Goacher was excellent. I received a report a soon after the initial survey. They are very friendly and professional. I’ll be using their services to remedy the issues I have with my roof. Highly recommended.

Very slow to respond for an extremely simple job - going elsewhere, (where I got an appointment for a structural engineer within 1 hour of initial contact, not 11 days. The engineer came 2 days later and now I have the drawings in my inbox, just 4 days after initial contact.) No apology from PGA as can be seen from the response below.

I instructed James Bray from Philip Goacher Assoc to conduct a further inspection on a property I am purchasing after an initial inconclusive inspection carried out by a different firm. We used Dave Gierke at Philip Goacher associates to assist with the repair of the subsidence of our garage. He was able to survey the property then very quickly design a solution , he then oversaw the repair and at the end of the process was able to provide a "Certificate of structural adequacy " to satisfy our insurer.
He was very friendly explaining everything in an easy to understand way, the whole process was made very easy and I was also pleasantly surprised by the cost.
I can`t recommend them highly enough and would certainly use them again in the future.

I was really impressed by the swift response to my enquiry and the allocation of a surveyor to help with a property issue. Following an inspection, the report was comprehensive, both with details of the issues and suggestions of how to resolve them.
This has been a difficult time for my family following bereavement of my father and the satisfactory way in which Philip Goacher Associates has helped deal with the property issue has substantially reduced the stress we were experiencing.
