Used these as a recommendation, not only where they charging 30% more than any other accountant (which I didn't know about till after getting a couple of quotes from new account firms) parts of my paperwork where rushed & missing which led me paying extra with my new accountant to sort out.
Also was roped into something that I never agreed with to begin with, I refused to settle which has now escalated further.
Before you decide to go forward with Pinfields or are an existing customer please do some research first.
To cover all my books, tax and vat I think these wanted about 5.5k for the year
My new accountant is doing all this for 3k for the year

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! I would give them minus if I could. They madly came as a recommendation and it was the worst decision I ever made. Late tax submissions which I got stung for & was completely unaware of until I called HMRC about a large tax bill that came through the post, little to no communication & any communication is billed at a ridiculous cost, they pass you around the office to different accountants so nobody knew the answers as nobody is assigned to you. When questioned about their antics it was clear they literally had taken me for an absolute joyride, they have somehow magically managed to do my latest tax return with no bank statements & no communication at all & when leaving the company they are attempting to invoice me for over £600 to which I questioned & I received a word document with no itemised breakdown of actual work undertaken! They have made things extremely difficult & complex for my new accountants to take over, honestly…Please please please AVOID this company at all costs! You’ll pay for it in the long run!

Pinfields are a fantastic company to work with, very friendly and very knowledgable. They always put the customer first and are on hand to help guide people through the complexities of the wide ranging world of accounting and all tax related matters.

I watched a guy come out of the accountant, I presume on his lunch, walk past a bee on the pavement, turned back around and used a leaf to move him into the shaded bushes so no one stepped on it... if I wanted someone handling my money, it would be this guy/company.

takes them ages to do anything and then ask for information you've already given THEN have the cheek to blame you for a late vat submission

basically paying monthly fee for the flash office and then expected to put all your own stuff on quickbooks yourself

any subsequent correspondence is ignored when you've parted company

avoid!!
