She took the time to get to know me when I’d been looking to move away from teaching and into a new industry which was proving difficult. She represented me well to other companies, kept regularly in contact with me to provide updates and is a big part of the reason that I can finally say I’ve found my new job.

After being made redundant, I reached out to Plus One Recruitment the very next day and explained my situation to Dan. At that time, there weren’t any suitable roles that matched my experience or were within a reasonable commute. However, the very next day, Dan contacted me with an incredible opportunity that was exactly what I was looking for.

I had expressed my preference to remain in transactional accounting, and Dan found a role that was a perfect fit. He arranged a Teams meeting for the temp-to-perm position that same day, and by the end of the interview, I was offered the permanent role!
