Had reason to use Mark on a boundary issue on a commercial property recently.

We needed some expertise and importantly and independent chartered land surveyor to survey land adjoining a neighbouring property.

We contacted Mark. He was really friendly, approachable and measured. He took the time to talk through and understand why we were seeking a full survey report of the neighbouring land (we wanted it to provide to the local council after witnessing a property developer moving the fence line to assist with a planning proposal).

Mark talked through the reliability of OS mapping and land registry documents. He made it clear that his survey would be impartial and independent (which may mean we didn’t like the outcome of the survey). The independence of the survey was critical to what we needed.

Mark surveyed the land, and then promptly provided the full report, along with a prelim report for the council in time for a planning meeting.
Marks report was very compressive. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Mark.

Mark produced an extremely detailed boundary survey as an expert in a boundary dispute trial held at Northampton County Court.Mark was jointly appointed by myself and my neighbour. Under difficult circumstances Mark went about his impartial duties to the court in a very professional way and was very polite at all times. We contacted Mark in regard with a matter between three parties who were all in agreement on a new determined boundary. Mark responded promptly to our initial enquiry and his positive attitude towards the matter when communicating through email and telephone meant that we had no doubts about hiring him shortly after. This was in complete contrast to other enquires we made to surveyors who were too busy with house price surveys or responded some weeks after we had settled the matter.

In person, Mark came out and did an extraordinarily thorough and professional job for us all. He never rushed, was discreet and painstakingly accurate. When we had a round table discussion with the other parties Mark was extremely courteous but also clear that he was working for us, and with the other parties.

The documents were submitted promptly and on time and received by necessary interest parties very quickly after being processed by the land registry. Where the land registry have worked slowly, Mark has worked hard to chase them up and get responses on our behalf. There is clearly a strong working relationship between him and them which helps get things moving in times of trouble.

I have had excellent feedback from all the other parties involved on Mark's professionalism, communication and work ethic. He is a joy to work with and helped ensure a cordial matter stayed that way. Boundaries are always sensitive matters and for that you need someone aware of the sensitivity to ensure plain sailing. Mark is that man.

Mark comes highly recommended. Though it is unlikely we would need to hire him for the same reason, because everything was done so accurately first time around, were we ever to need a land surveyor for another matter, or be asked to recommend one to anyone we know, Mark would be our number one choice without any doubt.
