In just three sessions, one each on our own and one joint session, we were able to reach a financial settlement which meant that we will both be in a position to make a fresh start.
This was only able to happen because of the professionalism and patience of both Charles and Frances and the fact that all times we were given clear guidance with regard the process itself and the likely outcomes if we chose particular paths.
They also acted as a safety net when things went very pear shaped over the initial wording of the draft divorce petition.
We both understood that in the event that we were unable to come to an agreement within two joint sessions, it was likely that negotiations would be protracted, and costly both financially and emotionally. As a result our minds were focused and, we began to work as a team to resolve our issues for the first time in a long time.
It has meant that we have also worked together to ensure that our house is sold in timely manner, that our belongings have been split appropriately and that we are now in the process of purchasing our future homes.
Although the divorce is still to be finalised, the house to be sold, and moving dates set, with the help of Charles and Frances we are well on our way to a new and brighter future and, we may even come out of this with a semblance of friendship. Something which I hoped for but never thought possible.
The service that Charles and Frances provide is worth its weight in gold. But... be warned! You need both to be honest with Charles and Frances, and with yourself, as well as each other to make it work.

Having just completed a mediation process with Charles and Anna, I can honestly say that I think everyone should do this when trying to navigate their way through a hard process like this. They held an extremely safe space for both of us and really seemed to understand what we were trying to achieve for ourselves, each other and our children. We must have also saved an absolute fortune in solicitor's fees which most likely would have created a load of unnecessary antagonism anyway. Thank you!

My soon-to-be-ex wife and I agreed our financial and childcare arrangements through Progressive Mediation. It only took two sessions, which was great! The sessions certainly helped me think through the options and come to my own conclusions about how the settlement needed to work. I would recommend over going through a solicitor.

Progressive Mediation provided an excellent service a few months ago.
They dealt with delicate issues very tactfully and professionally, explaining clearly all options and steps of the way. They made the whole process easier and considerably cheaper than doing it through a solicitor.
I would undoubtedly recommend Progressive Mediation to any person in the same situation.

Mediation is not an easy exercise even when it has been recognised it is necessary. However, Charles and Frances made a difficult time manageable and helped me to navigate the practicalities needed to separate well and begin to move on. Charles and Frances did not seek to become a friend, they were neutral, non-judgemental, professional and patient. I found the sessions led to a way forward which was fair and realistic and left all concerned with dignity.

Seemed to be giving conflicting advice to me and my ex partner. Told me mediation would likely be successful and was suitable for us but then advised mt ex partner that it could not happen because I had left England and come to Scotland. This resulted in a court order bringing me back to England and us going through court to settle access to our daughter. They advised him to do this but also booked me another MIAM appointment the very same day. Definitely would not reccomend. I didn't find them approachable, i didn't feel comfortable with them. It felt very much one sided. I'm not completely against mediation I just wouldn't reccomend this place

Had my 1st hour of mediation here with Anna to help me and my ex partner sort out our issues and come to an agreement over our children. After half a hour I ended up walking out quite upset. Didn't feel like she wanted to help at all and felt like she was taking sides.
