A friendly and efficient service from the first point of contact,
I enquired about a used car, a phone call followed by a video presentation was sent along with information about the company and awards won etc
My sales person was Rob R.
I Arranged a test drive, all hassle free.
Rob R was helpful, patient and non pushy and he was easy to talk with and never felt hurried.
Collection of the vehicle was straight forward and Rob R showed me how to use the cars features as well as explaining and setting up certain features too.
All the staff I came across were friendly and polite, nothing seemed to much trouble.
The one thing they did mention on numerous occasions were the extras such as accidental insurance, protection for paint/wheels and tyres etc
One thing that wasn't mentioned was the benefits of Volvo selekt and the 30 day return and breakdown cover etc
I had a good customer experience and would be willing to recommend and purchase from Ray Chapman Malton again.

Superb service from Richard at Malton when we purchased our XC60 this week. The attention to detail and listening to our requirements were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Recently decided to change my wife's car ... perused Volvo Select paying particular attention to cars on offer from Ray Chapman Motors!

We have bought several cars from Ray Chapman Motors over the last few year's and always been pleased with both the cars and service provided.

We live in Blackpool so it shows the confidence we have when buying a new car from Ray Chapman Motors with many Volvo dealerships between us and York or Malton.

This particular car was a lovely V40 and from first contact with Richard Sheldon (last week) to driving away yesterday, has been first class.
Initially Richard sent us a detailed video of the car along with full details of service history, past owners and Mot's etc.
A phone call followed in which I explained in order to make the long drive up and test drive i would like couple of minor items included in the deal, which Richard said wouldn't be a problem.
Drove up yesterday and within just a few hours the test drive and all the purchase paperwork was completed, along with 7 days free Volvo insurance and road tax.

Also thanks to Ben who took over from Richard (who was called away to another customer with a prior appointment) who completed the final handover and sent us on our way.

The only slight negatives were that Ben was a Man Utd fan, nobody is perfect ! ... and there were no mini muffins on offer at Malton 🤔🤣

In conclusion, if you are thinking new or used Volvo then do make Ray Chapman Motors your first port of call, we always would.
Very unlikely you will disappointed!!

Our Salesman Liam Taylor was knowledgeable but not pushy. He answered our questions and our test drive on his chosen route was the clincher. His post sales support has also been excellent answering queries both over the phone and by email.
We were also introduced to two Chapman family members and made to feel welcome and that the higher management level was accessible to us now and in the future.
Before leaving we also meet some of the service team so feel confident that when we bring the car in for service we will continue to get excellent service.
