Have used this company three times in last three years for family house sales. They are efficient, friendly and very experienced, same people have been at this company for years. Always nice to be able to deal with people you have had dealings with before and have confidence in. They sold our house in under 24hrs because they work hard and really care and take an interest in your property sale. Always return your calls if unable to deal with query and go the extra mile to keep the seller and buyer updated on any developments. Highly recommended, would not even consider any other company.

You have all been so professional and helpful whilst selling my Mam and Dads house on their behalf, under what can only be described as a difficult decision for us as a family. Both Sue and William have helped us in every way possible and we can’t thank you enough. Everything went through exactly as was stated in the conversations and emails we had with yourselves and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who’s thinking of selling their family home. Nothing was too much trouble

Spotted a property we were very interested in. Advert said details coming soon. We have a property to sell as well as a couple of rental houses in Darlington to manage. Tried twice. Zero response. Property we wanted to see then went under offer. Fair enough if someone else had an offer accepted but seems very rude to receive no acknowledgement! A 15 second email response would have sufficed.

Absolutely terrible Lettings Agency. If you find a property you like, before you can even finish saying hello, the first question you'll hear is "How much do you earn?"... They won't even let you view a property.

If you earn anything below 3x the rent then you'll be automatically told you can't let anything with them in the most rude and unprofessional way possible. Average rent being £600, they expect you to earn at least £25-30,000pa more or less... Earning that much you can easily buy a brand new property and your mortgage will be less than £600! And you won't have to deal with a rude stuck up Mrs from ReaEstates!

You can be the most decent person in the world and offer them even 2 years rent upfront but they won't care. They judge you right from the beginning based on your income and if they don't like the number... Just don't bother.

Also they are the only agency I came across in Co Durham that has such high pathetic costs. Other agencies expect you to pay £200 or so for all admin fees, credit checks should they want them and all other stuff. One off £200. ReaEstates on the other hand expect £200 per person for a credit check which I doubt they even do. Then they want admin fees and other costs. If you have a family then all those costs easily exceed 1 if not 2 months rent.

They have properties out to be let which have been on the market for at least 6 months. Most definitely high interest in them but nope, £££ is all that matters. I'm surprised landlords go to them. The properties just sit there empty for months and the landlords lose money. All because of the agency.

Just avoid at all cost! Rude, unprofessional, judgemental.
