Residential Property Lawyers dealt with the sale and purchase of our properties. Throughout the process they were professional and provided excellent and up-to-date information on progress via their online client case tracking service.

Their staff were courteous and understanding throughout and dealt with enquiries promptly and efficiently. I have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.

Our first purchaser used these solicitors. They dragged the process out for 17 weeks promising to exchange but at each stage they delayed the process. The house we were selling was a new build well within the NHBC 10 year contract on a largish estate. Houses sell very quickly with apparently no problems. This solicitor demanded extra documents some dating from 10+ years before the property was even built. These took time for the council to find and had no relevance to the property. They lost documents sent to them and kept repeating the same questions. At about 12 weeks in we met the buyer briefly he wanted to measure for a sofa. It turned out none of the documents we had supplied in week 1 such as fixtures and fittings had been relayed to him. After 17 weeks and we thought finally about to exchange (we had since past two proposed completion dates); however, raise further questions on the road adoption by the local council. Questions about the adoption had been answered 8 weeks earlier and nothing more had been heard so we assumed all was fine. The council as yet did not have an adoption date but said it would be adopted once a period of time since the last house on the estate had been built had elapsed. They said to the buyer that they could not proceed and the buyer was forced to pull out as the solicitor would not recommend it for the buyer to get his mortgage. The estate agent asked other solicitors in the area for their wording (as no other property on the estate seemed to have selling issues due to this) to see if this bunch of cretins could be satisfied but to no avail. If you want a solicitor to dot every i cross every t and make sure it is absolutely perfect then use this shower. But personally if there is a chain this lot will kill the chain by delaying the process to such an extent. I personally would rather use solicitors from a third rate banana republic than residential lawyers ltd.

Residential lawyers were v good. They did everything a more expensive lawyer would do, were prompt, friendly and knew exactly what should be done and when. Especially when stumbling blocks came up.
We were very pleased at the service and they are very cost effective.
I doubt you would get better at the price. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I rate one star because I don't know if google allows to rate zero star... Halfway in the process of buying a property, Residential Lawyers told us to get another solicitor, ditching us. The reason was that we were asking too many questions.

As many solicitors, when you call them to get a quote, they respond within a minute and get you to talk to a so-called Partner, but as soon as you paid the initial monies/fees, your file is dealt by an incompetent admin. staff and it is not possible to get any answer, call, email, at least in a timely manner.

We were keen to complete rapidly and our file was not so complex. However, after weeks without news and no answer to any of our questions, we were kicked out by Residential Lawyers.

Avoid at all cost, there should be more professional firms out there.

I cannot praise Residential enough, they have been excellent over the last few months, I admit I am difficult to deal with due to my constant questioning and chasing up, but your team at Residential have been superb and I cannot recommend you enough.I think without your help I would have stressed a lot more than I would have liked, and for that I am greatly appreciative.

They are all on the ball the their knowledge and always get back to you with any queries thrown at them
