I was initially impressed by the Samuels Solicitors website. However, my experience changed once I began engaging via email. The communication lacked clarity, and it was unclear whether the solicitor I was speaking with wanted to understand which area of law my case fell into or required specific examples of the situation to determine if they could take the case on. Despite providing the company with a lengthy document, I felt the fee they quoted—thousands of pounds for 5 to 6 hours of work to merely decide if they would take the case—was excessive for an initial consultation. While I was prepared to pay reasonable fees, this seemed disproportionate.

If the communication had been clearer and they had asked for just the documents specific to the concerns I wanted to address, that probably would have been a better approach. This would have made the quotation for the work much more reasonable.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Samuels Solicitors.
