My case manager put me in touch with Vanessa, as a 24 year old teaching assistant my facial scar is something I am self conscious of at times.From the moment I met Vanessa she put me at ease and was extremely thorough. Firstly we went through questions together and Vanessa was easy to talk to. Vanessa explained very clearly what skin camouflage was as it wasn’t something I had heard of and wasn’t 100% sure on how it worked. Vanessa took photos of my scar each step of the way, once we tried one product she would take a photo and we would discuss the product used judging if it was the right colour or texture, Vanessa involved me with this process and asked my opinion and if I found something too yellow / orange / pale Vanessa would then change it to suit me. Vanessa gave me an opportunity to apply the product myself to ensure I could do it and was confident doing so. Myself and my mother in law were so pleased with how my first appointment with Vanessa went, I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone looking in to skin camouflage.

I met with Vanessa today and left feeling better within myself. She was welcoming and made me feel comfortable, even touching my scar which I was nervous about. I would recommend skin camouflage to others who have lost confidence in themselves due to scars and the work Vanessa done on mine was exceptional.

Vanessa is incredibly professional having worked with all sorts of people for various medical reasons she is very understanding and has a nice manner. Happy to explain things several times and make the patient feel comfortable

I was referred to Vanessa after my daughter was in a road traffic accident and was left with scars, Vanessa talked us through the scar management and made us aware of the skin camouflage that would be available to my daughter when she is a bit older if she ever starts to feel self conscious about the scarring. My daughter got to try some of the product that may be available to her and I must say I was impressed as someone who has a scar from a burn this was something i had never been aware of and feel I could possible have benefited from when I was younger. For anyone that has a scar or a child with scarring it really is a relief to know there is something there to help and make them feel better about themselves and help boost there confidence.

I was made aware of Vanessa’s work and skin camouflage after I had burn scars and I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone that is self conscious about their scaring.
The skin camouflage is life changing and unbelievably subtle so you don’t feel like you’re covered in makeup. Vanessa talks you through everything and is incredibly helpful and supportive.
