We used Slee Blackwell for our recent property purchase, and while they were reasonably priced, the overall experience was disappointing.

They requested mortgage funds on the wrong day, regardless of our direction to request funds on a specific date. This caused unnecessary stress. Despite being corrected multiple times, they kept addressing emails to me as "Dr. Langley," when it’s my wife who holds that title, and they frequently omitted her from important emails. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating.

It was also extremely hard to get hold of them by phone—they rarely answered, which made it feel like there was no personal touch or support throughout the process. They didn’t seem to care about us as clients or make any effort to guide us.

The whole process felt much more stressful than it needed to be. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re looking for a solicitor who communicates well or provides a supportive experience.

BEWARE SCAMMERS.This company has to be the worst solicitor in the UK, there was several so called professionals who dealt with my case, I found that an E Duncan was aggressive and totally ignorant in dealing with a case, I raised the fact that it took her 2 months to respond to evidence in emails, their approach was " go somewhere else if you don't like it" there response states 48 hrs to reply this never happened. I would suggest don't use this company for personal negligence claims as it will cost you they will drag it out so that you don't have any success at another law firm, make a complaint in which this office dealt with that and took a biased approach in poor resolution in which there wasn't any so much for stating no win no fee, this is total rubbish in the end they will state there isn't any success and start asking for money, total scammers. BE WARNED! Regarding the response as you are part of the same company and misrepresented the complaint raised , by disregarding the evidence in which I had supplied E Duncan she misrepresented my case, and due to her approach exceeded the time limit to use another solicitor, she was aggressive and non responsive in dealing with the evidence and it was a NO WIN NO FEE, that is why I wasn't charged, the worst thing about this solicitor is they stated they would continue if I paid it myself obviously it would appear that misrepresentation is paramount at this poor company, I have found on social network sites a lot of people that have had a very poor representation by this solicitor and hopefully they will be adding their review....
