I have been seeing Sophie for a good few months now. I completely trust her to help me through some really tough times in my life. She has helped me make sense of my feelings and emotions and has taught me how to cope with different situations to help me. Sophie has always made time for me when I needed a session last minute. I do not know how I would have made sense of the past few months if it weren't for Sophie helping me through and giving me guidance. Its ok not to be ok! I would 110% recommend Sophie to anyone.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

My fiancé found Sophie on google after I had a bad experience with the NHS counselling service and was ready to give up trying to sort out my mental health. Before I started receiving counselling Sophie and I exchanged emails and messages to ensure that she felt she could help me and she was very honest from the start that she’s not a miracle worker (though after 4 or 5 sessions I’d disagree with her there) and even said that if there was anything I wanted/needed to talk about which she didn’t feel she could help with that she would recommend another counsellor. She also said from the start that the whole point of talking to her clients before receiving any counselling was to make sure that I felt comfortable talking to her. My sessions were during the covid pandemic so face to face was not an option, so we did over the phone counselling. Never once did I get the impression she wasn’t interested, every session she would recall things from the previous. Sophie gives amazing advice and is so easy to talk to.
She’s not just a great counsellor but a genuinely lovely person as well.
I hope this helps someone who’s debating whether or not to give counselling a go because I was in the fence for ages and only wish I’d found Sophie sooner!

I give Sophie 5 stars. I was made to feel very comfortable and confident discussing subjects in a very calm atmosphere. The more information and detail you can share the more Sophie can help you on the journey. You are the centre of the session and Sophie really does build the session and meetings around you. Sophie is very nice and calm , I found her very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Sophie.

I was apprehensive at first when seeing Sophie. Talking to a stranger about my worries and feelings was daunting to say the least. Sophie really did put me at ease straight away.
