Having done 10 or so transactions through Southerns in the last few years I'm really disappointed with the deterioration in the level of service I'm now getting. The majority of these cases were worked on by Amber Khan who was exceptional; she was speedy in responding, understood when urgency was required and explained everything thoroughly (i.e. marking on a complicated document exactly what information was needed). She has now left the firm and I've been working with someone called Kerry who unfortunately demonstrates none of the above. Perhaps there is a workload issue here that needs to be resolved but i'm left waiting days/weeks for updates, asking for documents to be requested several times before they are and a real sense that my 3 cases are bottom of the priority list (I've been told as much with other cases "close to completion being prioritised") which isn't particularly reassuring. I felt like I had found a conveyancer that I would be taking all my future business to with Southerns but have now begun looking elsewhere.

Dont use this solicitors,they take forever to sort probate out and take all of your money in the end especially one solicitor named nicola fitzhugh who was very unhelpful and did'nt even keep us updated on the progress only when she wanted to do searches and get more money off us,avoid this company.
