Don't know if it's just me but they don't seem very friendly and are quite rude. There's is a younger guy that's in there sometimes who is helpful but the other guy and older women could do with improving customer service skills.

I am fed up of going to this post office and its closed they want you to stay local but if you are supposed to shut at 2pm then why is it closed at 12.45 and they have days when they just don't open at all. I think its totally unacceptable and will not be using it anymore

30/1/24 went to this post office to tax a vehicle without a log book. The couple in this post office told me exactly what to do, they were so very helpful, very polite and friendly. There was a number I had forgotten so they gave me their mobile number so I didn’t have to go home and back again. They advised me on costs and the year changes had happened to reduce costs. What a delight to encounter such wonderful people. Thank you both & all the best 😃

Do not use this post office, ripping people off by charging above the rate for small envelopes. Paid for 2 x signed for first class, charged for large envelopes. When challenged told we are wrong. Same envelope cost less at Mytholmroyd

Went for some euros and the exchange rate board indicated €1.12 to the pound. The owner then told me that the board was incorrect and that the rate was €1.06. I left and went to Ramsdens in Halifax where I got €1.14.5 to the pound. Very poor rate at this post office. Don’t recommend.

I was sorry to hear that the owners were leaving as they were really lovely people.

However we now have new owners, but only new to Sowerby Bridge.

This family have a wealth of experience, having already run a Post Office in another town for a number of years. They are now working hard in Sowerby Bridge to get the Post Office how they want it, and I know that they will be a great asset to the town.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. The staff and owner require some customer service training. The owner is a rather large 6ft man who started shouting at me in the shop. Extremely intimidating and I could see he had also scared other customers as well as myself. Please refrain from visiting this shop unless you want to be ridiculed and over charged as their prices state £4.99 but I have been charged £5.50 when I questioned this he got louder and angrier. Also the receipt did not reflect what I bought they just put it under ‘postage stamp’. Concerning if you ask me. STAY AWAY.
