I attended the hospital today having been waiting for treatment for 18 months. Within my time at the hospital, i saw the Specialist, had a scan and have an appointment next week to discuss next steps. Little bit closer to feeling my normal self. Really easy access, hospital spotlessly clean, free parking and coffee and staff couldn’t do more for me. Would definitely recommend!

I was in for 2 nights following a right hip replacement. The team were excellent for pre surgery information and care, which followed through to the procedure and post operative care. The recovery team were very reassuring and put me at ease immediately after the procedure.

I was lucky enough to have my hernia operation carried out at The Spire via the NHS of which I was very grateful for. All I can say is… wow! All the staff I encountered whether that be reception and catering, all the way through to anaesthetists and surgeon were so friendly and professional. This was my first adult operation at the age of 33 so was filled with worry and nerves but was quickly made to feel at ease. The facility is extremely clean and the day ran smoothly. My special thanks to Mr Razeq, Zoe and Hazel for looking after me during my operation. I wish all at The Spire a Merry Christmas and send my festive wishes.

Had a knee Arthroscopy, meniscus trim and MCL repair at Spire Cheshire Hospital yesterday. The staff were fantastic, from the receptionist to the recovery team. Nothing was too much trouble. Two ladies whom I MUST give a mention are Andrea and Mary, they really went above and beyond to make me comfortable, they made sure my stay was pleasant from start to finish. Thank you ladies, you deserve the recognition.x

On the 31st October I had a total knee replacement carried out by Mr Acharya and from day 1 I have not had one moment of regret even though I funded the procedure myself at great expense and for the first 2/3 weeks the knee is very painful. I found Mr Acharya to be extremely informative and caring and would recommend him as your consultant should you require his services for joint replacement. The nurses on the ward were excellent especially as initially you require their help to dress, shower and visits to the toilet! The food is first class and regular cuppas from the tea/coffee trolley are very welcome. For the last 6 weeks I have had regular physio carried out by Mr. Gouldthorpe who thankfully has made me put in the hard work required both during the physio appointment but also at home in order to return to a fully functioning knee. I can now drive again. I’m back walking my dog twice daily and I am thankful that after only 6 weeks I can say my life is back on track.

I had a total knee replacement on 10th January. It was my first operation and I was filled with fear beforehand. However, from the moment of my arrival at the Spire to the day of discharge, every level of care was first class. Everything was well organised, smooth and punctual. Everyone from the admin, cleaners, canteen, nursing, physio and surgeon, Mr Leong, (sorry if I missed anyone) couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive. The care and diligence was second to none. If there is such a thing as a five star hospital, this would be it.

I recently underwent Foot Surgery at Spire Cheshire Hospital. I was so impressed with all of the staff I came into contact with including Clinical, Administrative, Catering, Housekeeping etc. I could not select one member of staff as they were all extremely accommodating, friendly and happy to help. Overall, an outstanding Hospital with outstanding members of staff.

Earlier this month I spent 3 days in the Spire Hospital having a Hip Replacement. I didn’t know what to expect but I could not have been more pleasingly surprised. From the minute I walked through the entrance at the Spire Hospital everybody whom I came into contact with greeted me with a smile and reassuring words. I found everybody helpful and friendly.
Everything was well ordered, things happened when they were supposed to and all went like clockwork. I had no misgivings or reservations as all my questions were answered fully and this gave me confidence. The Surgeon and Anaesthetist came to see me individually before the procedure and explained what would happen. All went well, and the following two days I was in the care of the general hospital staff and all played their parts to the full. The nurses, auxiliaries and caterers all worked together to ease any discomfort that I may have been experiencing.
Eating meals here was an enjoyable experience. The menu was varied and wholesome and the food when it came was nourishing and presented in a pleasing manner.
Finally I must say a special ‘Thank You’ to the Physiotherapists. The first one explained the rudiments of my exercises and what I would be doing to get back to normality, and Jenny who patiently worked with me for two days showing me how to use the crutches and behaviours which would hasten my recovery.
I am now at home on the road to recovery, carrying out all my exercises and best practices as shown to me by the Hospital Staff.
I am indebted to the professionalism and kindness from all the people I came into contact at the Spire. Thank You very much.
