I found the dedicated staff at all times very caring and professional. The doctors, nurses and support staff ensured that I was comfortable and I felt confident that I was in good hands before and after the surgery.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The nurses, doctors, and support staff all went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process.

I had self pay total knee replacement on 27th January 2025 . The pre operation check was thorough and comprehensive and on the day of surgery , as it is self check in but the receptionist was just great help with the check in . Mr McGarvey the surgeon and his team in the theatre were absolutely brilliant. The night staff after surgery were very caring and looked after me as a patient . Next day in the morning , there was a change in the nurse assigned to look after me and I was told that latter I will be going home . I found her a bit evasive with answers but got to see the physio and pharmacist and was told at about 4 pm that I was free to go home . Sadly I found very little information in the discharge package about what to expect after surgery . I was given a card to call the hospital if I had any concerns . I would have been more than happy to give 5 star rating but once discharged , I had concerns about a lot of bruising behind the knee , kept ringing the phone number given to me over 3 DAYS and no one picked up the phone . Finally , I gave up and called NHS 111 and a very nice lady explained over the phone what to expect and reassured me it was normal . Sadly , after care service is poor as when in the hospital you are a patient and once discharged just number .

After two partial knee replacements which went very well I would like to acknowledge the Physio department especially Helen Wu. Helen has taken the time to explain exactly what I should expect and where I am in my recovery. Her treatment and advice have been outstanding!

I had my Gallbladder surgery last week with Professor Humadi and I have to say from my first phone call with his secretary Melanie the service I received was 5*.
Noor the nurse who looked after me the day of my surgery was so lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
Monica who brought me lots of cups of tea throughout her night shift was so kind.
The food I got was truly delicious and the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had.
Dr Humadi himself was so lovely.
Overall service was perfect.

The reception staff / sectaries booked me in with the wrong surgeon!
They called me after I enquired online & I told them what my issue is, (I know, because I had NHS look at it in depth). I drove an hour to the appointment today and I paid £150, to be told he couldn't help me. They refused to refund the £150, so I could put it towards the fee to see the right surgeon. I was even told to tell the surgeon I need to see, to see if she'd offer me a discount. What a joke. As if that's going to happen. Unbelievable.
