Either you’re a Post Office or you’re not. They refused to take a parcel the previous day because the system was down (fair enough, not much that can be done about that)
Then the next day was told the system is working, then because this was an eBay return they couldn’t take it as the last delivery had gone already. Then started making excuses saying the system was down, which I had just been told was working just seconds before.
I just want to send a parcel. At the post office. That’s literally the point of a post office

Paid a cheque in, amount showing as zero on my receipt, quired it was confronted with 'it will go through' Still sceptical.
Man on desk rude, oblivious to any form of 'service'. Do not use. The 5 min drive to Elsenham so much worth it. SHAME ON ROYAL MAIL to allow so many poor reviews without review. Unacceptable. Nothing more to say then utter rudeness. Councillors of Stansted, please review this as a Standard of service. Please. Will update this if funds received but no confidence.

Update cheque cleared, however confidence in service still not impressed by this local post office.

If you are a regular paying customer to the shop within the post office you maybe greeted with a smile. However the wife and husband treat postal customers with disdain, I've stood waiting whilst she plays on her phone for a long time before acknowledging me and had many experiences where they have been generally very rude. As a village postal service it's a shame to see it run by people who care so little

Rolled their eyes at me as soon as my foot went over the porch. Told me to send my parcels elsewhere if I printed a label at home. Will
Be filling a complaint at Royal Mail. I guess if you are not enjoying being a business owner anymore, why not just retire or do something else. Such a negative attitude to life, customers and everything around you.

Customer service is nonexistent. Although this is my local post office, I avoid it at all costs and go to Elsenham branch instead, where the workers actually care and are helpful.

The woman who served me was extremely rude and unkind to me. She acted like she was doing me a favour so much so that I will not be using this particular post office again. I would not recommend this post unless you want to be treated like dirt.
