My meeting was with Stephen, a gentleman that has many years of legal and mediation experience I found his input invaluable and constructive bringing many ideas and different view points to the table. Stephen is an excellent mediator. Challenging without being confrontational, empathetic without adding emotion to an already complicated situation. He draws upon his experience as a solicitor which is very useful and this is combined with very good people skills.
As an online service it was easy to set up and he was flexible when I asked at the last minute to start a little later.

If you need to use a mediation service you are feeling anxious, stressed and feel you have no control over what will be. I used this service and from my personal experience I highly recommend Start Mediation. Their website was very clear and informed me what the process involved and outlined their very reasonable fees. I completed the online Application Form - there was an option to call but I felt the online option suited me best. I felt it necessary to get my points/circumstances down clearly and concisely.
- I received immediate receipt of my Application advising that I would receive a phone call the next day
- Elizabet called me early morning. She was very professional and supportive and I answered some more background information for her. She sent me an email so I could pay the cost in advance of the appointment, 2 days later. I was expecting to wait considerably longer.
- My mediator immediately put me at ease. He was a gentleman and engaged with me in a very supportive manner. He attended me for an hour on FaceTime. He promised to send me by email a Certificate which arrived the next day. This too was included in the fee.
