Avoid this post office for passport photos. I used their service to submit my new application (as 10 years ago it had been a very good service). This time it was awful. I had to stand where all queuing customers could watch the process and the photo submitted by them to the passport office was rejected. This delayed my application & I had to have it re-done at another place. On viewing the video for how to take a good photo at home, I could see how the woman in the post office had done everything wrong and the passport office said it had failed on 4 counts! The rest of the service appears OK but this photo aspect is crucially important and they need to train their staff better.

We applied for two passports at Steyning Store and Post Office on 30.01.23 and received them in the post on 10.02.2023.

The staff in the store were so lovely and the application process was worth every penny we spent to get it processed.

Very friendly and helpful service. This has been recently taken over by a couple who now run the post office and they have set up a very useful hardware store in the front of the shop. They also have a daughter working on the front desk who is also very helpful. A great addition to the Steyning High Street.
