Cathy has been (and continues to be) a huge support to my 9 year old son. When we first started seeing Cathy Marley was unable to leave the house and had severe separation anxiety. After just a couple of sessions he started looking forward to his sessions and would happily leave me. Cathy gained his trust through her empathic and nurturing nature. She got him outside in the fresh air and was able to connect with him on a level that I've never seen from any other therapist. We will be forever thankful for the support of Cathy and we will continue to work with her when and as Marley needs extra support.

Our daughter has found true sanctuary here as she comes to terms with the difficulties and challenges that she faces. I am convinced that there would be nowhere else offering the extent of support to both our daughter as well as her broader family at this time. Cathy has, and continues to be, counsellor, mentor, physical and social support, well beyond our daughter's usual regular contact times. This has included times of crises as well as times of celebration and personal triumph for our daughter. I must confess that I honestly believe that without the intervention of Cathy and the SLCC, that our daughter might not have made it quite as far as she has been able. Our hope is that the scaffolding and foundations offered by the SLCC will be substantial enough for our family and our daughter to be able to make posirive moves towards a more secure and worthwhile future for us all.
