I have been lucky to have had both my knee replacement procedures carried out here by Mr Jeer and his dedicated team. All of the staff here are helpful and informative, with nothing being too much trouble. Nurse Claire looked after me for two days during my most recent procedure and she was wonderful, with such a cheerful and caring nature.

Everyone was so helpful and so caring. All of the staff were amazing I felt well cared for throughout. I had plenty of time to talk to everyone including the consultants, nurses, anaesthetists, physio and catering. I don’t think they could have made my experience any better than they did.

I had a minor procedure at The Chaucer Hospital yesterday. The quality of care was exceptional, our nurse Sonja carefully explained everything that I was going to have and was with me all the time along with another nurse. They were both kind and considerate and everything went smoothly. I was called by the consultant the next morning to see if I was alright. Excellent service by all.

From the moment I arrived, I felt well taken care of. The medical staff was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and patient in addressing all my concerns. My doctor took the time to explain my diagnosis in detail, and I felt confident in the treatment plan. I was impressed by the thoroughness of the staff and their commitment to my well-being.

Bonnie on the ward was amazing and went above and beyond for me and also for my mum whilst she was waiting. Post op all the staff were amazing and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. Paula and Nicholas overnight really do deserve a special mention. Nicholas has a great sense of humour and put a smile of my face any time he answered the call bell. Paula was like having my mum around, nothing was too much to ask and she made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Both Paula and Nicholas came to say goodbye when they handed over to the day staff which was a really nice added touch. Claire on the day team was incredibly caring, kind and very sweet. She made sure my discharge went smoothly and kept me informed at all times. The theatre team made sure I was calm and made me feel really looked after and like an individual to them. Nothing felt too rushed and it all ran smoothly. If I ever need any kind of surgical procedure done again I can only hope that I manage to get it done at Chaucer as I'm not sure any other hospital could measure up now.

I’ve never had surgery before so was very apprehensive. However, all staff were faultless and knowledgeable so I was put at ease very quickly. One nurse in particular had previously undergone a hip replacement and was a great help in both answering my many questions about the procedure and offering me many hints and tips. It would be great if she could publish a guide for patients as she was speaking from experience.
