A friendly, unpretentious place. Tasty pub grub with good portions at reasonable prices. Homemade steak pie was hearty and goan veg curry was tasty, the setting is clean, a little old fashioned (no Farrow and Ball here!) but recommended without hesitation.

Popped in with a mate. The pub is rather run down and tired looking, but so many pubs are these days! Friendly, chatty barmaid. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Guinness was superb!
