My worst experience with an architect I have ever had. They did a survey of the existing building in order for an extension to be added and didn't notice that the wall was leaning outward, When this was pointed out to them their only solution was to knock down the walls and start from scratch. I got another opinion and was told that a ring beam would solve the problem. I therefore changed architect and asked for a refund from Thomas Custom. After a year going through their ''complaints procedure'' they denied any fault and I have given up furious about the way I was treated. The new architect also said that he quite commonly gets clients coming to him dissatisfied with the work done by Thomas Custom

Would highly recommend! I had to submit a scale drawing for a planning application in a short timeframe which I couldn’t do for myself. As it was a small job a lot of other firms were too busy or not interested but after explaining my predicament Mark came to my rescue. Explained everything and got my job done very swiftly. Very professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again!

Changing Architects half way through a project made me very nervous, but i knew as soon as i met Mark he was the man for the job. Mark agreed to take on a large project for me which was 18,500 sq ft, and new i was on tight deadlines. Mark went above and beyond to ensure we met those deadlines. Due to Marks incredible attention to detail and thoroughness our planning permission was accepted 1st time, which is a huge plus given the size of the project. Mark is always available either by telephone or email to answer any questions. He is also always happy to have face to face meetings to go through things in person. If you want an Architect that will go the extra mile for your project then Mark is your man. Highly recommend.

I approached Mark at Thomas Custom Architectural Services Ltd on behalf of Ilfracombe Bowling Club as we needed some drawings very quickly for the purpose of our Planning Application and had only a short time to complete.
