Tye Architects successfully achieved a brilliant planning permission for us in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We engaged Nic for his wealth of unrivalled experience adding contemporary extensions to traditional buildings - after giving him a tight design brief for our 200 year old Flint property, he turned around a design scheme with concepts and options swiftly and with thought. We worked together to produce a striking contemporary extension, which we were delighted he managed to get through planning - managing the council, providing a 50%+ increase in footprint, which has dramatically changed our living space. The outcome is quite fantastic. We are looking forward to working again together on future projects and would highly recommend Nic and his talented team.

Nicolas Tye is an outstanding architect. We instructed them to help us design an extension to our home with some internal work to the original house. Planning has just been submitted and we are very excited about the design of our new home. As with most projects there were changes but Nicolas and his team were very accommodating and flexible in their approach. This is the first time we’ve embarked on a project of this size and NTA are highly professional and guided us through it all. Tye Architects have been fantastic in the re-modelling of our mid-terrace Victorian house. They have designed solutions for a side extension and attic that have successfully met the strict planning conditions in our conservation area. We have worked with NTA as their lighting consultant on a good few projects now. I always look forward to designing their projects as the design and consideration applied to each project is really impressive which makes designing and implanting a lighting scheme a pleasure.
