Hospital & staff wonderful. Cafe food terrible, bangers mash & veg was tasteless & overpriced. Small cheese & onion lattice pastry & cup of tea knocking a fiver.

Excellent care and staff in general. Well looked after by all concerned, from specialist, anesthesia, surgery, nursing staff and auxiliary staff. Utterly brilliant team working in a 'no blame culture'. Can't fault them! Highly appreciated and highly recommend. Thank you to all staff on Ward 100.
However, don't expect any hospital aftercare once you come out. This is sadly lacking and totally due to the NHS cutbacks!
The only help you can expect to receive is from your personal GP....! Or ringing the PA to your specialist and demanding an eyeballing appointment from the specialist or surgeon ASAP. And hopefully someone else will cancel their already existing appointment so you can take their place πŸ™„

It is absolutely not their fault, but they are overworked and understaffed. You wait for hours to be seen. The 1 star is for the nursing staff who are often so friendly. However after visiting her more than 7 times in the last few months after a reoccurring problem, I am just not listened to. I see different doctors each time all with different opinions. I've been fobbed off and let down over and over again. I wouldn't treat or leave an animal how I have been.

Fabulous orthodontist here, over the past 3 years mr schollie and his team have perfected my daughters teeth unrecognizably with 3 different types of braces/ the experience wasn’t easy for her as her treatment started when she was 11 but now she’s 14 and her teeth look AMAZING and made the journeys from Macclesfield to stoke absolutely worth it , can’t thank them enough πŸ˜¬πŸ’—πŸ˜¬πŸ’—πŸ˜¬πŸ’—πŸ˜¬πŸ’—πŸ˜¬

I went in SAU at 7pm at 1am they told me the doctors had gone into emergency surgery so I would have to wait at least another 3 hour and if I went home I had to sign myself out. They did do a urine test and I had a urine infection but they couldn't give me a prescription because nobody was allowed to sign one. Went home with no help at all

Ward was oppressive, dysfunctional, lack of communication, staff difficult to understand, partly due to masks. Waiting literally hours for daughter to be discharged, medication not available!!! Awful experience, shocking, but unfortunately not uncommon.
