So still waiting for a proper wall socket this is how they put the new one in and I can’t even get one plug in as it’s crooked and I should imagine dangerous! This is what we pay rent and council tax for, also have other issues going on in my house roof/bathroom mold also still waiting for a toilet to be replaced.
Absolutely disgusting but they will soon Chase you if you’re a week late with rent think it’s time us rent payers stop paying until the bodge jobs they have done are sorted and jobs completed ! Without fail every job we’ve had since living here has been an absolute mess and done by cowboys!
We’ve already made a complaint following the procedures now!!this is also to do with our bathroom and vents in roof was meant to have 2 now have 9 and fan in bathroom hasn’t been connected was meant to be done correctly 1 half years ago lol it’s an absolute joke!! Mold etc been going on for 3 years had the job messed up 4 times now!!so this isn’t just about the plug socket..Before they started changing things radiators boilers roof etc it was fine no problems they do work and just mess it all up and make issues!!!where do you get your workers from!?

I don’t understand how I’m stuck in a two bedroom flat with 3 kids one over 10, both sexes. Was put on the housing list two years late because they had no evidence of my child even though they were given appropriate paperwork, wasn’t back dated but I’m fine with that! My issue is how I suppose to bid on a property when there are NO properties on my page and if I don’t bid I’m considered an inactive bidder, but when I ring the council just to enquire about the lack of housing, I’m told there are 280 families in my band that has MOVED to this area and as a result I have to be patient and just wait. I don’t understand. I’ve done everything I’ve been asked to do even paid for the letter from the GP, social services referral, midwife, teachers etc and still nothing!!!! I guess I just have to wait for these 280 families to be housed before I can even start to bid on properties on my band again. I’m a reasonable person but I believe if you work hard and follow the rules you should be able to move ahead in life. What about us who’s been waiting for years? When are we going to become a priority? I have provided more than sufficient evidence to support my application and I’ve been patiently waiting for the last 10 years in a extremely unstable environment and at this point I’ve lost all hope! Fair is fair!!!!

Council tax department are a shambles, new system constantly going down, if you send email confirmation it’s not actioned. Speak to them and they don’t know what they’re doing either. No wonder WHBC have such a low rating!! Absolutely clueless 🙈

I am extremely disappointed with the council's handling of a reoccurring leak issue in our bedroom that has been ongoing since December 2023. Despite multiple reports and complaints made to the council, the matter remains unresolved, and the level of incompetence displayed is unacceptable.

The leak has caused significant damage to our property, including water stains on the ceiling, mold growth, and compromised structural integrity. Not only has this affected the livability of our home, but it also poses a health hazard to my family due to the presence of mold and dampness.

The council's response to this issue has been lacking in urgency and effectiveness. The delays in addressing the problem and the failure to take appropriate action have been frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication and accountability from the council is simply unacceptable.

I urge the council to prioritize this issue, investigate the source of the leak, and take immediate action to rectify the situation. It is crucial that they improve their response to such critical matters and ensure that residents are not left to deal with the consequences of their negligence.

Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with the council's handling of this situation and expect better accountability and efficiency in the future to prevent similar incidents from occurring.

I have until now resisted the overwhelming urge to air my thoughts regarding the astonishing levels of incompetence and apparent reticence to communicate with residents with queries of any kind. In my opinion this is an appalling state of affairs. I do not hold the new administration responsible; it is my opinion that a culture of apathy has set in in the years before. There is a complete absence of joined up thinking; well, it would appear that way. Most crucial of all, there is a dereliction of duty when it comes to tackling the urgent needs of the most vulnerable and disabled residents. In this day and age this is totally unacceptable behaviour by a local government organisation and the public deserves far, far better. I am naturally angry but equally baffled by this culture of ineptitude. Poor performance like this would categorically not have been tolerated by any of my employers before I became disabled, indeed it would have resulted in instant dismissal. If there was an option here to leave a rating of negative stars, I would be stating Minus Five. Sadly, I know for a fact I am not alone in my experience. I trust the council will heed my comments and that of others; it needs to urgently so it can indeed comply with its own ethos of "Working better together".

Hatfield has become a jungle now. No grass has been cut. Trees and bushes not trimmed at all. Our local park (Lane End Park) has not been touched at all and it's unusable at the moment. It's disgraceful. I contacted council about it but they clearly not rushing to reply.

Horrendously rude staff. Been passed around from person to person. Department to department. As a private home owner living next door to a council property m, trying to get council owned fence between the 2 properties fixed (disputing the ownership, even though they have got my deeds that clearly show it is not my responsibility).

Been waiting WEEKS and still no answers and fence more unsafe than ever!
