We were homeless for more than 6 months while waiting for the lengthy process of a flat we intended to purchase. During that time, we initially worked with a solicitor who provided litlle communication and slow progress, leaving us uncertain about the outcome. After months of months of waiting and without reassurance, we made the difficult decision to withdraw from the purchase and seek a new property with the assistance of a different solicitor.
