This small museum of an assortment of randomness is one that could easily be unfairly under-rated.

When we went there, admittedly I was a little dubious but a really pleasant lady (unfortunately can't remember her name) offered to show us round personally.

If we had gone round under our own steam, we could have easily been out of there in 5 minutes. With being shown around we were shown a whole load of little odds-n-ends that we simply wouldn't have taken in otherwise - the petrified samples of ancient woodland, for example.

Worth a visit, but make sure you get shown around.

Great little place. Friendly staff who spent time talking and explaining about the exhibition to the children. Cost only 75p for children who received a certificate and 2 postcards after completing the small trail.

Lovely little place and a bargain. Dont want to say too much about it as it's worth discovering the treasures for yourself but my favourite treasure is upstairs. Definitely worth a visit next time you are in the area. They have santa visit at Christmas too.

An extremely unique museum.
Dating back to the 15th century Winkies Castle is a half crooked cottage and the oldest building in Marske by the sea Cleveland
Hosting many artifacts dating back many years.
